We've partnered with Discover Puerto Rico, the Island’s Destination Marketing Organization, to give the gift of nature and Adopt a Coquí, to continue our mission of helping preserve Puerto Rico’s natural resources. A symbol of Puerto Rico worldwide, the coquí is a species of frog endemic to the nature-rich Island, and heartfully named for the sound they make. By making a donation starting at $25 USD, coquí adopters will receive a keepsake adoption certificate for their contribution to supporting conservation, sustainability, and climate resilience efforts by our organization. To ensure that your donations are properly managed and legally recognized we have partnered with The Ocean Foundation to be our fiscal sponsor. What this means is that Conservación ConCiencia as a supported organization under the fiscal sponsorship of The Ocean Foundation receives management and administrative support as well as the legal infrastructure of a 501(c)(3) entity, with IRS exemption, and charitable registration to collect tax-deductible donations.
